I have always been inherently curious and driven by a desire to create meaningful connections with others and to uncover solutions for the challenges that surround us - both big and small.

When someone comes to me for therapy, I find that they, too, are deeply curious about themselves and their circumstances. And, most often, they are seeking some solutions for something that is seemingly weighing them down or holding them back. Therapy, therefore, provides a collaborative space to activate that curiosity, working towards alleviating hurtful mental health symptoms and facing the difficulties that come with the human experience. I have learned the value of professional support when it comes to mental health, and I strive to provide the same valuable service for others in their journey to becoming a newer version of themselves.

I work with clients ranging from adolescence to adulthood and have specialized in the areas of trauma and addiction.

Therapy provides a safe space to gather tools and practice using learned skills to gain the confidence needed to make meaningful changes. In a society where connection feels hard to obtain, therapy offers an opportunity to build a meaningful therapeutic relationship and provides an experience of connection that is transferable outside of the therapy setting. Approaching each session from a place of compassionate curiosity, I aim to help clients garner insight and identify opportunities to reframe and restructure thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are causing challenges in their life. While collaboratively establishing goals, I work from a trauma informed, client-centered perspective and utilize a solution-focused approach. I also incorporate tools from both CBT and DBT to compliment treatment.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and hold a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with concentrations in trauma and addiction.
