Therapy is an active experience, a practice, that can lead to transformative growth.

It is a space where individuals get to choose which tools work best for them to improve their lives in situations that feel unmanageable or hard to navigate. With the support of a therapist who is dedicated to moving through that work alongside you, you can address day-to-day difficulties and can develop insight that can lead to the healing of wounds from traumatic experiences.

I believe deeply in the healing power of relationship building, influenced by my background in teaching art and yoga. I approach all of my clients with genuine curiosity and joy in getting to know them - and, I believe that curiosity is crucial when working with people of different backgrounds, ages, and identities.

My commitment to my clients is to honor that they are the experts on their own lives, while offering the skills that help them in getting closer to self-empowerment. I approach each session as a guest - as someone who is willing to accept feedback so that I, too, may grow in our work together.

My practice is trauma-informed with an emphasis on the whole person, highlighting the connection between the mind, body, and spirit.  I draw from feminist relational and somatic theories, as well as attachment theory, IFS, CPT and CBT.

I earned my Masters in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago where I built a specialization in trauma therapy, working closely with survivors of sexual violence.
