Therapy is a space where you don’t have to carry everything alone – it’s a human-to-human connection built on trust, honesty, and care.

I deeply believe in the power of connection. I know what it’s like to feel unsure, afraid, or stuck - and I’ve also seen how healing it can be to have someone there who sees you, listens, and stays. I remind my clients often: I’m human too. Life can be overwhelming, confusing, or just plain hard - and therapy offers a place to slow down, reflect, and feel supported. It’s not about having all the answers; it’s about having someone walk alongside you while you find your way.

Specialties:

  • Anxiety
  • Relationship Issues
  • College and Life Transitions
  • LGBT and Queer
  • Self Esteem
  • Body Image

I work with adults across the lifespan and have a special interest in supporting individuals in early adulthood as they navigate life’s transitions and uncertainties.

I take a person-centered approach, tailoring my work to each individual’s unique needs and experiences. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and valued. You’re the expert on your life, and my job is to walk alongside you. I incorporate elements of both Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which allow us to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a way that honors your individual experience and supports your growth.

Therapy can offer clarity, relief, and a deeper understanding of yourself. It’s a space to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment, to uncover patterns that may be holding you back, and to gain new perspectives on how to approach life’s challenges. At its core, therapy is about helping you feel more connected - to yourself and to others - so you can move through the world with greater confidence and peace.

I earned my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. When I’m not at Tandem, you can find me working in the health and wellness space, where I’m passionate about helping people cultivate resilience and balance - both physically and mentally.
