I believe that counseling is a process in which one explores change, motivation, and accountability to access this richer fuller life.
In a professional, therapeutic relationship, success comes from learning more about yourself. It requires a deeper understanding of your thought and emotional processes, values, and relationships. These changes support an authentic life and connections with others. My goal, as the counselor, is to use tools and strategies to assist you.

I work primarily with adults in both individual and couples counseling. I specialize in working with men and sexuality-related concerns in counseling. I am currently under clinical supervision for Certified Sex Therapist through AASECT.
I will work with you to identify how your motivations and values have been shaped and defined over time. With mindfulness and stress management infused, we will build awareness as to how emotions and thoughts influence important parts of your life. Together, we will generate action steps to begin creating meaningful change. I employ a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Gestalt principles to help create insight and intentional change. My primary focus is to create a reflective and relational environment for these changes to begin.
In addition to my work with this practice, I am also an Associate Professor at Adler University. I trained at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and have provided mental health services in various clinical and community settings for children, adolescents, and adults. I obtained my PhD in Counselor Education and Counseling from Idaho State University and have authored several publications on queer issues in counseling and clinical supervision.
